フロリダを飛び立つ2日前、North Palm Beachの「Palm Habor Marina」にて『Yachting Magazine社』主催のパーティーに招待され行ってきました。

入口のレセプションにはAston Martin DB9がお出迎えです。そして会場にはRapidもありました。恵比寿のロブションで見ていたので、その存在感は圧倒的です。マリン(ボート)とのディスプレイはマッチしていますね。

会場では色々な方とお話をし、フロリダ州のマリンの大きさを改めて感じました。

I was invited Yachting Magazine’s party at Palm Harbor Marina in North Palm Beach two days before I took off FL.

Aston Martin, DB9 was displayed at the reception and 4 door, Rapid in center of the party. Aston Martin is well collaboration with boat and exsisiting itself is brethtaking. I already checked Aston Martin at Joel Robuchon in Ebisu, so it was easy to recognize.

I chated with many people at the show and felt big marine market in Florida state.

ボートショーも終わり、艤装品を購入したり、ボート雑誌の人と会ったり、輸送の準備を進めたりしています。

フロリダには、ヴァラエティにとんだショップが沢山あります。私がおりましたシアトルとは、この点で異なります。

フォートローダーデールにある「デコレーション&デザインショップ」で、車が一杯になる程、室内装飾品を買い物。ピロー・スロー・ライティング・プレート・バスアクセサリー・テーブルウェアーをデコレートする事で、インテリアに個性とオリジナリティが生まれます。

別々に組み立てるのではなく、まとめてデコレートした方が統一感がでて「デザインされた」インテリアになります。

After finish the Ft. Lauderdale boat show, I’m doing purchasing boat equipment, meeting with boat magazine people and preparing export the boats.

There are many types of marine related shops in FL. Seattle where I used to living doesn’t have much compare to FL.

We buy tons of interior decoration items at Ft. Lauderdale shop. We bought pillow, throw, lighting, plate, bath accessories and table ware. If the boat decorates designed items under certain theme, the space will be so gorgeous looking. And also it shows owners taste thru the selected items.

フォートローダーデールのボートショーでは、必ず大きなテントの中に「Superyacht Builders & Designers Pavilion」があります。

世界中のボートビルダー（造船所）やデザイナーがブースを出して、プランニング中のヨットをディスプレイしています。

将来的にウチは世界を相手に、ここを目指します。ただ単にブースを出すだけではなく、ここで展開するというヴィジョンです。

アジアでも、台湾ビルダーや中国ビルダー数社がブースを出しています。

目指す所が見定まったら、あとは『方法』です。Designerか？Builderか？フロリダの地で熟考してみます。

There is always a “Superyacht Builders & Designers Pavilion” at the Fort Lauderdale boat show.

International yacht builder and designer displays what they are planning and building.

I’m targeting this pavilion in my company not only having a booth there, but business internationally.

There are few Asian shipbuilders from Taiwan and China.

I clearly see the point I should go, so what I need to do is figure out how to go there. Approaching there is as Designer or Builder, that’s also I need to consider.

Sea Trial後、ボートショー会場へ。

メガヨットを中心にみました。Horizon 130、Trinity 191、その他100フィートオーバーのヨットを数艇見せてもらう。

Burgessがリストしている『Unbridled (Trinity 191)』は、メガを超えてスーパーヨットです。Horizon 130のMiss RoseもBurgessでチャーターリストされていますね。

ショーが始まる前に「Bertram 410」のシートライアルをした。外洋は風が強く、船の性能を判断するには良い海況です。やはりバートラムですね。

停泊中のメガヨットや、世界一の大型客船が数隻います。メガヨットのインテリアは、オーナーがプロジェクトの初期段階からデザイナーが介在しデザインされますが、プロファイルは決まっている『Semi Custom Yacht』が多いです。Profileを見ていても個性があって面白い。

We did sea trial for Bertram 410 in the morning. It was very windy day out, so good to know the boat ability at rough condition. I must say that even though small boat, the running capability is Bertram technology.

It was interesting to see mooring Mega Yachts and cruise ships. The Mega Yacht project is usually owner’s taste reflects inside and profile set up, semi-custom yacht style. Profile design represents yacht builders character for their boat.
