I had a chance to take a look at maintenance haul up mega yacht that we are working on.

What I want to check and feel is to get the volume of the yacht. We have been working on the drawing, but to see & be in the existing yacht is reflecting to the future design.

I was so lucky to meet with Captain of this yacht and had an interview of this yacht. I interviewed thru my lists and he was kindly to answer the entire question I asked to take me to the site. I also check the equipment.

I’ve captured the scale of the boat and will reflect to the design of it.

色々とアレンジしてもらい、上架・整備中のメガヨットを見せてもらった。2日後には下架してホームポートに回航するので、ギリギリだった。

図面上である程度は把握しているが、同型のヨットを見る事でその「スケール」「大きさ」を再確認できた。

キャプテンに用意した質問事項を聞き、現場で説明を受ける(質問が多いね・・と冗談を言われたけど・・・)。主要な艤装品もチェックする。

ボートのスケールを体験する事で、図面・デザインに反映させる事が出来ます。

FLIBS 2012 first day, Oct. 25^th, was hit by hurricane Sandy.

It was strong wind and rain. But I could take a look around little bit.

The convention center is mostly for center console boats.

And I appreciate for taking me a tour on brand new OA120. She turns out really beautiful.

2012フォートローダーデールボートショーが始まりました。初日の25日はハリケーン「Sandy」の影響で雨風が凄い状態・・

それでも、テント内の艤装品メーカーなどを中心に見る事が出来ましたが、天候が良くなる最終日の土曜日に集中してまわります。

写真建物のコンベンションセンターでは、センターコンソール中心の展示。

ブランニューのOA120 Tri-Deckを見せてもらいました。Christensenで建造しただけあり、仕上りに高級感があります。

I’m heading to sunshine state from day after tomorrow.

I’m under several missions and will attend couple of builder’s cocktail parties. Thank you for the invitation!

It’s good the time to get a resource and meet a people.

明後日から「フォートローダーデール」へ向けて出発します。

複数のミッションを抱えてのショーなので、短い期間ですが色々と動き回ります。

ビルダーのパーティーにも招待されているので、出席する予定。

現地から出来るだけアップする予定ですので、お暇な時に覗いて下さい。

We have to visit several showrooms for the meeting recently.

It’s always good chance to see new material (technology) and talk about the materials with rep.

Above is the tile. I feel it has some sense of Japanese.

Below is flooring. I feel it’s like European Tatami mat, made of over 80% paper.

The idea is coming from somewhere when I touch something good.

最近、数箇所のショールームへ打合せに行く仕事があった。

ショールームへ行くと、新しいマテリアルやテクノロジーとの出会いがあり、そのマテリアルの説明を聞き、触れる事でイメージが湧いてくる。

上の写真はタイル。日本のテイストが見え隠れする高級感があるタイル。

下の写真はフローリング。ヨーロッパ版畳の様な感触。材質は80％以上が紙。

私は良いものに触れる事がアイデアがフツフツと湧いてくる。
