From today (7^th) to 10^th, it’s held Japan International Boat Show 2013 @ 2 locations.

One is Yokohama Bayside Marina for floating and another is Pacifico Yokohama for inland display.

It’s nice and warm weather and supposed to be nice in this weekend.

It’s a good opportunity to see boats around.

本日(7日)から10日まで「Japan International Boat Show」が開催されています。

今年も2会場です。「横浜ベイサイドマリーナ」と「パシフィコ横浜」です。

今日は天気も良く暖かかったですし、週末も良さそうですね。

「海」「マリン」「ボート」に触れる良い機会です。

Time flies!! It’s already Japan Shop 2013 (Japan International Boat Show is held in this weekend, March 7^th to 10^th).

早いものでもう3月です。Japan Shop 2013がビックサイトで開催中なので勉強をしに行ってきました。

毎回行っていますが、毎年「何かしら」の発見やアイデアが浮かびます。

When I was in KHH last time, the famous Benetti yacht “Ambrosia” was at the harbor.

213ft yacht is so huge to fit in the picture.

I can’t forget this elegant profile yacht and feel very lucky to see her and meant something to me.

台湾のホテル前にあるハーバーに見たことがあるボートが停泊しているな・・と思っていたら「Ambrosia」でした。アジアでは有名なBenettiのボートです。

213フィートの全長があるので、スマホのカメラでは収まりません。

夜中に見たこのエレガントな雰囲気のプロファイルの印象は忘れられません。と同時にChanceを感じました。

It’s sometime break and lost the boat entrance door key.

The boat entry key uses many different key manufactures. It’s quite hard to find blank key in Japan.

Basically it’s used boat manufacture’s country one.

Trio Ving is popular key manufacture and it’s from Norway.

ボートのエントランスドアの鍵を無くなったり、曲がって使えなったりする事があります。

ボートの鍵は色々な海外のメーカーが作っているので、国内で合鍵を探すのは難しいです。

通常、ボートメーカーがある国の物を使うケースが多いです。

Trio Vingはボートではポピュラーなノルウェーの鍵メーカーです。

I’ve been updating the blog about TW. But I actually came back already in Japan. So many things want to up in the blog regarding TW visiting.

We attended the open tank test at Japan National Maritime Research Institute.

The huge facility has several tank test pools. The one we went to is 400m long pool.

Gate Rudder technology is also on the way to research.

The testing boat has BLS (Boundary Layer Suction) and can gain power saving and pressure fluctuation.

We’ll keep eye on new technologies that can be used for the pressure yacht.

台湾でのネタが続いてますが、先週に帰国しております。出張先で色々な動きをしたので、ブログが追い付いていないです・・

昨日(3/1日)海上技術安全研究所、通称「海技研」にて水槽実験があったのでスタッフと参加してきました。

広大な敷地には様々な実験用の機器があります。今回は400mという長さのテストタンクで実験です。

「境界層吸い込み(BLS)」をつけた実験用のボートでテストプールを走らせます。

実験用のボートにはついていなかったが、「Gate Rudder」の技術も気になります。

「抵抗低減」「推進効率改善」というデータが出ました。

この様な新しい技術開発には常に注目し、プレジャーボートの分野に応用できないか・・と考えています。
