In the photo’s plan leather is very good for flooring. Just change from wood floor to leather floor create gorgeous atmosphere.

To design boat profile, it’s very important stem angle and chine.

チャインの形状は海水を叩き落とすと同時に、船全体の走行バランスを整える。
既存のボートをみて、その計算やしいては哲学の一部を考察する。

材料の割付図です。既存の壁・床を色々な道具を使いながら採寸し、図面をおこしていきます。
プレジャーボートのインテリアはカーブやアングルが多く、採寸に時間がかかります。
材を発注するにあたり、予備を含めた量を発注するが、重さの計算やシートの大きさによりいくつ必要かあたりをつけます。
割付図をもとにメーカーとの交渉、そして「納期」と「コスト」をコントロールしていきます。
There are many curved wall in motor yacht interior construction.
Each yard using original technique, but if there is something bendable wall is available, it’s going to be fast and easier construction.
This board can’t be top finish of the wall, it’s the base of finishes.

レザードアレバーからドアのデザインを考え、壁をマッチングさせ、床・天井を設えていく。通常とは違うプロセスから、異なったアングルのデザインが生まれる。
ボートでよく使う「ハッチ用の取手」にも同じレザーを使いたいですね。
