This is the accommodation study for the motor yacht.

Lower Deck, Main Deck and Upper Deck. Each deck has each function.

Lower Deck is obviously more private and Main Deck and Upper Deck have more activity.

Before 3D modeling, prepare the CAD drawing. There are some layouts arise and each GA has clear purpose of design. It’s usually back and forth between CAD and 3D modeling.

アコモデーションを確認する為に、レイヤー分けをし、各デッキがチェック出来るようにモデリング。

下からLower Deck、Main Deck、Upper Deckとあり、各デッキの機能があります。

Lower Deckは居室があり、よりプライベートなデッキ。Main DeckとUpper Deckはアクティビティがありナビゲーションがあるデッキ。

3Dをおこす前に、CADでGAをおこします。何タイプものGAが出来上がり、各レイアウトごとにデザインコンセプトがあります。CADと3Dとでチェック、修正しながら進めていきます。

テンプレートからデータをおこし、NCで切り抜きます。

It’s very useful material, King StarBoard, for boat. It has several color and size available too.

It can be used mostly Hatch, Door, Step and countertop.

It’s easy to install and maintenance. Great Material!!

我々が「スターボード」と呼んでいるマテリアルはボートではよく使われます。

色も白だけではなく、アイボリーや黒もある。シートのサイズや厚みも色々あります。

ボートではハッチやドア、ステップ、そしてカウンタートップなどで良く使います。

施工方法も簡単、そして対候性に優れメンテナンスが楽です。

Let set up concept color with accent color and spread this color with contrast? or blend?? or gradation???

カラーチョイスが多すぎで、ゴチャゴチャになってきたのでPhotoshopでカラースキームを整理。

コンセプトカラーと決め、アクセントを決め、それらを同じ階層で拡げていくか？それともコントラストでいくか？？それともグラデーションでいくか？？？

選択肢が沢山あります・・ゴチャゴチャしてしまう・・・

段々見えてきました。Too Simple過ぎず、シンプルに。同じ階層のタテとヨコ、そして深みの青の同じ階層・・・、アクセントカラーが見えてきました。

One great architect said “making a furniture is like building small architecture”.

Furniture design is related with ergonomics and building furniture is like building a home.

Fundamental construction is important, another is select right material from varieties of choices and décor of covered foundation.

It’s difficult, but enjoys the design.
