When I propose something, I really care what the point of presentation is. Presentation is the chance to clarify our idea of design.

For our business, the material is drawing, color sheet, material board and bunch of spec sheets.

I have to answer many questions. I can’t propose something I don’t know.

It is important for me enthusiasm and rhythm at the presentation.

プレゼンテーションに際して、常に大事にしている事があります。「ポイントを明確にする」という事です。ナニのプレゼンなのか？によって、ポイントを箇所箇所で明確にします。

図面・カラーシート・マテリアルボート・スペックシート等は明確に説明する為のマテリアルです。

質問に対して「何となく・・」という回答はありえません。「何となく」というものに対して、クライアントは価値を見出さないですし、「何とない」ものをプレゼンする必要もないです。

その場における臨機応変な対応やリズム、そして想いを伝えるスタイルに注意します。まだまだ勉強中です。

It was hard to find the urethane foam (sponge) shop because of cylinder shape. We decided to modify and repair original foam.

Cut damaged part and add new foam on it.

Of course, leather is brand new white leather. I think it is important the appearance, at the same time, basically we won’t see it directly, what is the behind of covered area.

レザーはクリーンなホワイトでシンプルに整えました。

見た目も重要であるが、目に見えるフィニッシュの通常見る事はない「裏側」の構造が重要です。

東京ではウレタン等の材料屋さんの数が少なくなっているようですね。ある程度の「数」と「納期」があるようでしたら、難しい形状でも対応できます。

When we have a design meeting with client, we prepare to bring several materials.

It’s definitely better touch and feels from real material than Web or brochure.

I order related color and pattern for carpet to search owner’s preference, however I can’t focus on one material, I have to see it all material in the space even sofa stich.

I had a chance to see LEXUS LFA in Yokohama. I impressed to see concept car at Tokyo motor show in couple of years ago.

It’s outstanding design and exhaust sound is awesome.

The sale price US$490K is also outstanding.

横浜みなとみらいでレクサス・LFAを見る機会がありました。ブログにも載せてある、数年前の東京モーターショーでのコンセプトカーの印象が残っています。

LEXUSのスポーツカーとして独特のデザインで、エンジン音は甲高かったです。

特徴あるデザインと共に3,000万超えの3,750万という価格も衝撃を与えますね。
