Stainless steel is very good choice for Galley, but it may be boring and restaurant kitchen look.

The combination of wood and change the stainless finish are good idea to look very clean and modern.

ボートのギャレー(キッチン)のデザインで、ステンレスを多用すると一歩間違えると味気ないものになってしまいます。

ですが木との組み合わせ、そしてステンの仕上げを変える事で上手くカラースキームを整えます。

I prefer stay different hotel when I go to somewhere.

I can feel and sense the contemporary design thru to be in there.

Floating furniture is contemporary design and sequence of bedframe, headboard and side cabinets are seamless.

No fan and aircon grill on the shower/toilet room looks very clean looks. These are hided on the double ceiling.

一連のベッドフレーム、ヘッドボートそしてサイドキャビネットの連続性からくるフローティング・ファニチャーは、非常にモダンです。

ファンやエアコンのグリルが無いシャワールームはとてもクリーンです。グリルは折天井の所のあります。

常にどこへ行ってもリソースに溢れており、勉強になります。そして無意識の中でアンテナを張り、その場の空気感を感じ取ります。

Wood surface either exterior or interior has been used many screws to tighten things up.

But as the designer of concern and view, we don’t want to show screw end on any surface.

For the exterior of boat, use typically Teak wood and collect spare of wooden cap.

We try to match the lines up to look like there is no wooden cap there.

船では様々なものを固定する為にビスやボルトでとめます。

デザイナーとしては、このビス頭を出来るだけ見せたくはないです。

ボートではチーク材を良く使いますが、この様な木栓をスペアとして取っておきます。

出来るだけ木目にあった木栓をし、見せる必要のないもののケアをします。細かい事ですが・・
