To find the right carpet for the boat is sometimes difficult because there are too many choices.

I took the client to the carpet show room and had him feeling for foot on it.

We are getting there to find the best one.

Of course we don’t see not only carpet though, but wall, ceiling, cabinet, wood, solid surface, sofa… many things has to be harmonized.

適したフローリング材を見つけるには、選択肢が多すぎて時に迷路に迷い込みます。

事前のヒアリングを元に、適したショールールを選びクライアントと一緒に行ってきました。

大判のサンプルで踏み心地を確認したり、外に持って行って色味をチェックしたり、材質を聞いてみたり色々と一緒にやりました。この船にベストなカーペットが見つかりそうです。

カーペットだけではなく、壁・天・キャビネット・ソファ・木・メタル・大理石などなどとの調和、そして「その空間のハーモニー」が重要になります。

台湾へ夜中に到着後、前向きなミーティング。

事前にメールなどで、プランのアウトラインを説明し、現地でそれぞれの意見を述べ合う。

そして最後には次のステップの設定、そしてスケジュール。相変わらず駆け足での滞在だけど、将来的に必要なウゴキです。

It’s a challenge to use honeycomb board for the counter even slightly curve surface.

Using granite top and real wood veneer on surface looks usual construction counter, however it’s very light.

I’m seeing this material’s possibility and will keep challenging and searching to use it.

ハニカム材を使ってカウンターを製作しました。船への使用を考え、側面を曲面にしました。

御影石トップで天然木の仕様。一見通常のカウンターに見えますが、ハニカム材を使っているのでとても軽いです。

このマテリアルの可能性をこれからも追求して納めていきます。

This is glass look acrylic for boat’s glass holder.

To compare with usual translucent acrylic, it looks good on certain type of boat.

船のガラスコップの用のホルダーをガラス調のアクリルで製作。

通常の透明アクリルより手間がかかりますが、質感が出てインテリアにフィットします。
