The Showboats magazine annually reports global order book.

This year and coming next year appears tough numbers, 3% down from 2011.

It is an interesting note that 139 shipyards counted in 2008, but now, 2011, counts 209 yards. More shipbuilders in China and Turkey.

No. 1 shipbuilding country is, of course, Italy, and US is following second. Turkey is 3rd and Netherlands is 4th.

今年、来年の数字は良い数字が並んでおりません。来年は今年に比べ3%ダウンです。

特筆すべきは、2008年では造船所の数が「139」だったのが、2011年では「209」です。この増加は「トルコ」と「中国」で造船所が増えた事を意味しています。

No.1の造船国は、いつもながら「イタリア」。そして「アメリカ」が続き、「トルコ」「オランダ」になります。
