デンマーク王子のハムレットが「考える心というやつ。もともと四分の一は知恵、残りの四分の三は臆病にすぎないのだ」と言っているように、新しい事を始めるにあたって、不安がつきまといます。ですが、不安より情熱的な部分での興奮の方が勝ります。これからはずっと生みの苦しさを味わうことです。

初めて新プロジェクトに関して「エキサイティングだね！」と開口一番言う人がいた。同じ様な価値観で、一緒に造り上げられると信じている。

船造りは、技術に裏付けされた『情熱的』な部分が多いと思う。

We are working on new big project. It’s kind of scary to start off, at the same time, very, very exciting to kick off. I understand it’s long way to produce.

It’s first time to meet person who said it’s very exciting project. Almost people said realistic things and kind of negative attitude. I believe we can work together to build new boat.

I believe the shipbuilding is more passionate and enthusiastic based upon the technique. It’s hard to explain, but this is what I really wanna do.

来週に終わってしまう「マン・レイ展」を新国立美術館に見に行った。建物は故黒川紀章氏のデザイン。

「知られざる創作の秘密」という題だけあって、時系列別に写真や絵画が展示してあった。

Photographerとしての視点がスケッチを解して見れたのが面白かったし、芸術家としての「性」に対する捉え方が垣間見れた。

現在の自分がやっている事にあてはめてみると、最終的にはPCでまとめる作業だが、初期の段階では手で書くスケッチの創造性が大事だと痛感した。

I went to see the Man Ray exhibit at the national art center in Roppongi. The building is design by late Kisho Kurokawa.

The works is displayed by certain time period. It’s interesting to see how to capture the motif thru camera lens by hand writing sketch and the subject as different sex, female, artistically.

I’ve recognized that even final work is done by PC, but the begging of the project is better handwriting sketch using the sense of creation.

お隣の国「韓国」では、2つの造船所にてスーパーヨット建造がスタートしています。

Hyundai Yacht Coでは35m (116ft)のエクスプローラタイプ、JY Shipbuildingでは36m – 37m (118ft – 120ft)のヨットを建造予定。

通貨のバランスもあるとは思うが、世界第二位の船舶建造国が、プレジャーボート建造にシフトしてきています。技術がある日本の造船所はドンドン置いていかれませんかね・・

Japan’s neighbor Korea’s shipyard starts building superyachts in two shipyards.

Hyundai Yacht Co will build 35m (116ft) Explorer type yacht and JY Shipbuilding will build 36m – 37m (118ft -120ft) yacht.

It may reflect currency between US$ and Korean Won, but the second shipbuilding country in the world is shifting to build the pleasure yacht. What about Japanese shipbuilders? We might be running after Korea even they also have high shipbuilding technology.
