Italian leading Motor Yacht lighting manufacture, Cantalupi Light, gave us an interesting newsletter.

Normal incandescent light will be banned for many countries. It’s banning by bulb W gradually.

We had an experience for the refit project about couple of months ago, the owner sticks with Halogen light just change the fixture, however it was really hard to find the standard halogen light.

Many manufacture tends to make LED light now.

We get to follow the trend and need to know & study LED technology.

多くの国で「白熱電球」が禁止になるとの事。この表によると、電球のWによって年々禁止されていきます　(日本では既に全てが禁止・・)。

数ヶ月前の、改造プロジェクトにてハロゲンのダウンライトを交換した時、ハロゲンの舶用ライトを探すのに苦労しました。ほとんどのメーカーは、ハロゲンのタイプは製造停止している現状です。

舶用のみならず、陸の建物もLEDへのシフトが進んでいます。

この様な流れは知っておかないといけませんし、LEDのテクノロジーを勉強しなければなりません。

この海外の雑誌に載っていた広告を見た時、何の広告かと思った。Ritz Carltonのカード広告です。

美しいヨットをラグジュアリーの象徴として使い、ブランドの方向性や価値感を伝えている。

この未知なる冒険やサービスに基づくリッチな感覚がRitz Carltonとリンクするのでしょう。

この紙媒体の広告からも伝わる高級感は人々をひきつけ、ブランドイメージを確立するのでしょう。

7 basic Universal Design concepts can’t forget when we design and draw the layout of the boat.

Pay attention those concepts because yacht is using by human.

Sometime it’s important to re-check based upon this design principle to arrange with our design principle.

デザインやGAをレイアウトしている時に、この7つの「ユニバーサル・デザイン」コンセプトと照らしあわさないといけない。

ボートは人間が操作し、ある一定の空間を有し、そしてenjoyするものである以上、デザインの根底にこれらはなければならない。

時にこのコンセプトを元に見直し、我々のデザイン・プリンシパルを加えていきながら進めます。

When I was cleaning and reorganizing around my desk, I found this box.

I was given from boat yard CEO for the appreciation of work on throughout Mega Yacht construction.

We made a good relationship and build up friendship many engineers, even though we don’t communicate in English, I often visit the yard and say hello to them.

I also appreciate for the chance and tug up with great engineers.

事務所のデスクまわりを整理していたら、このボックスが出てきた。

数年前に建造した造船所のCEOから頂いたモノである。メガヨット建造中の感謝、という形で渡されたが、感謝しているのはこっちの方である。

この様な機会に感謝すると共に、現場のエンジニア達とはコミュニケーションを深め、タッグを組んでこの難しいプロジェクトに取り組んだ事を思い出す。

ここで得た信頼関係、友情は途絶える事なく、今でもたまに造船所に顔を出すと、ニコニコしながら皆寄ってきてくれる。

また皆に会える事を楽しみにしてます！！

It said on the top page paper that all drawing of constructing Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ cruise ship will be 3D modeling.

It’s gonna be efficient for workflow using mobile tablet on site.

I assume the software may be based on either AutoShip or Maxsurf.

Ship Constructor is very popular for piping and wiring upon AutoShip.

I was kind of surprised that in Mega Yacht building, we’re already using those software and aiming for efficiency.

Some yard creates own software based on Siemens.

I’ll ask about this Mitsubishi’s program with my friend.

8月13日の日経新聞の一面に「三菱重工・客船、図面全て3D化」という見出しの記事が載っていた。

記事によると、現場でタブレットを使い3Dによる「工期短縮」「在庫管理」「効率化」を図る、との事。

三菱重工オリジナルのソフトだが、AutoShip又はMaxsurfとの互換性はあるはずである。

Ship Constructorなどは、配管や配線などのレイアウトに非常にポピュラーなソフトである。

この記事が一面に出るのも驚きだが(海洋新聞ではないので)、Mega Yacht建造ではこの様な3D化は既に取り入れられ、効率を上げているからである。

あるヤードなどは、ドイツのSiemensとプレジャーボート建造用のソフトウェアまで開発している(互換性があるので汎用のソフトで読み取れますが)。

今までも3Dは取り入れていたと思うが、知合いに今度どんなプログラムなのか聞いてみようと思います。
