木種や板目・柾目によって様々ですし、ハイグロス仕上げ等のフィニッシュによって風合いが変わる。

プロジェクトの条件や、工法をトータルで考慮し、全体のバランスを調整しながらセレクトします。

The wood veneer is very important material in boat interior. We went to the showroom to check the wood.

There are many type of wood species and have wood original flat and straight grain figure. We can select the finish as mat or hi-gloss. It appears very different looks.

We have to select the wood based upon the site condition and consider the millwork construction.

Phaedra Tokyoが展示されていたアトランティックカーズへ行ってきた。

Aston Martin とPhaedra Tokyoのブランドがうまい具合に混ざり合い、融合され新しい世界観が構成されていた。

この多様なファッションの作り込み方が勉強になりました。

I went to the Atlantic Cars showroom to see the fashion brand Phaedra Tokyo.

The showroom is mixed with Aston Marin’ and Phaedra Tokyo’s concept in creating new proposal of the world.

The fashion is very interesting way to design and create new things.

先日飲みに行ったバーのコースター・・

The photo is the coaster where I went to bar the other day.

メッセージがあるグラフィックデザインです。

主張し過ぎず、脱力感がある中にメッセージが含まれているデザインがグッときました。

コースターはあくまで脇役。主役はドリンクですからね。

I like this graphic design. There is message with cute graphic.

The message doesn’t come too strong, but it catches eye on it. It’s great balance of it.

Even though the nice designed coaster, the main thing is drink. This design notices that it makes people having fun with drinks.

新しいアパレルブランド「PHAEDRA Tokyo」のローンチパーティが、恵比寿のJoel Robuchonで行われた。

会場には溢れんばかりの人です。2部制でショーが行われたが、2回とも会場には入れず・・注目度が高いですね。

リハを見れたので良かったです。『ハンサムウーマン』というコンセプト通り。4月20日から23日まで麻布台のAtlantic Cars (Aston Martin代理店)にexhibitされる様なので、時間を見つけて見に行きたいです。シューズのDetail & Designがカッコ良いです。

It was held brand new apparel “PHAEDRA Tokyo” launch party at Joel Robuchon in Ebisu.

There were too many people, even show was separately, I couldn’t get in there.

I could, fortunately, see the rehearsal, the design is the concept as “handsome women”. Another exhibition will be at Atlantic Cars that is Aston Martin dealer showroom from Apr. 20^th to 23^rd. I will arrange to go there and take a look at closely especially shoes design and detail is awesome.

基本的にはレディースのコレクションだが、若干メンズもある様です。ハット・ジャケット・スカーフをマッチさせて良い感じです。着心地も良いと聞きました。

Basically PHAEDRA Tokyo is female fitter, but there are some male fitter. Hat, jacket with scarf looks very good.

屋外にはPHAEDRA Tokyo とマッチする、Aston Martinが展示されていた。

乗船されるゲストのリクエストをお聞きして、ケータリングやドリンクを組み立てていく。

ゲスト数に応じてお寿司の職人さんの数、メニュー内容、座席のアレンジ、音楽等を考えていく。

お食事に合うリキュールも用意し、バーテンさんの手配をする。

モノを創るだけがデザインではなく、『プランニング + オペレーション = デザイン』と思います。

新造から船の使用用途を掘り下げて造り上げるのは非常に楽しいです。今までの経験を踏まえ、Refitにて変更する事も楽しいですね。

We set up food and drink menu base upon guest request.

We manage food delivery and bartender and arrange liqueur to match with food.

I think Design isn’t not only creating something, but “Planning + Operation = Design!”. It’s fun thing to create and design cozy space with food, drink and music.

It is very exciting to build yacht based on the use of yacht, party, charter or only owner use.

At the same time it is also exciting to refit the boat based on the experience of use of boat and rearrange.
