For the Fly bridge console cover, we compared polyvinyl chloride and acryl.

The strength is both sound, but color and feeling are totally different. Of course polyvinyl chloride is cheaper than acryl, but we chose acryl to match with gel coat.

We are using a lot of acryl not only interior, but alfresco area on boat.

屋外のコンソールカバー用で「塩ビ」と「アクリル」を工場で比較してみた。

強度は両方とも問題無し。コストは塩ビの方が安いが、色味、そしてテクスチャーはアクリルの方が断然良い。

色のバラエティもアクリルの方が多い。ゲルコートとのマッチングがあるので、アクリルをチョイス。

アクリルというマテリアルはインテリアのみならず、暴露部分でもよく使いますね。

The photo is Suede Faux Paint sample. There are several colors available.

I had found this kind of paint from Ralph Lauren when I was in Seattle.

It has really rich feeling and maintenance is quite easy.

We are thinking to do this paint on the refit project.

Suede Faux Paint。日本では「植毛塗装(スエード調ペイント)」ですかね。

このペイントを知ったのはRalph Laurenのペイントで、シアトルに居る時だったので随分前です。

この塗装は触り心地もよく、インテリアがぐっとリッチな雰囲気になります。

メンテも楽なのが良いですね。写真では伝わりづらいですね・・

White and Beige color ones have to be perfectly match, but we would like to introduce some new design carpet to be modern looks.

It needs to be checked actual boat to match with existing furniture and wall color and items.

Urethane backing attached one is good for absorb noise and feel very comfortable on foot.

色々なパターン(ループやカット)のカーペットサンプルを持って来てもらった。

白系やベージュ系のカーペットが合うのは分かっているので、新しいストライプのデザインカーペットでよりモダンなインテリアを提案したいとも思う。

あとは既存の壁、ファニチャー等と合わせてカラーバランスや全体の設えを現場で確認する。

ウレタンバッキングのものは遮音効果もあるが、踏み心地が断然違います。

There is several type of cabinet latch available.

Photo’s type is totally clean look on the cabinet face.

We can’t see either latch or hinge. It only shows beautiful wood grain.

Nothing bothers on the cabinet face.

Those small things really relates with the interior design.

ラッチを含め、ヒンジも見えないので、木目が綺麗に見せられます。

ただしこのタイプは指が入る様にデザインしなければ機能しません。

Lower Deck is obviously more private and Main Deck and Upper Deck have more activity.

Before 3D modeling, prepare the CAD drawing. There are some layouts arise and each GA has clear purpose of design. It’s usually back and forth between CAD and 3D modeling.

3Dをおこす前に、CADでGAをおこします。何タイプものGAが出来上がり、各レイアウトごとにデザインコンセプトがあります。CADと3Dとでチェック、修正しながら進めていきます。
