CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) is gradually coming in the industries.

It’s stronger and what’s good about this is Lighter!!

In the car industry, CFRP is taking over resin part for light weigh to get better fuel efficiency. Air plan, Boeing, is using too.

For boat building, it’s slighting used on some parts. I’ve seen some sailing yacht’s mast is CFRP.

The boat building volume is quite bit, if the material cost of carbon fiber is competitive, we can get a lot of more for weight.

車のでは今まで樹脂製のパーツをカーボン製にし軽量化による燃費改善を図っています。航空機なども同じです。

海外のセーリングヨットでカーボン製のマストを見た事があります。

ボート建造では一部分のみカーボンを使ったりしていますが、ヴォリュームがあるのでCFRPのコストが下がってくるとより使用箇所が増え、アドバンテージを受けられます。
