When I was cleaning and reorganizing around my desk, I found this box.

I was given from boat yard CEO for the appreciation of work on throughout Mega Yacht construction.

We made a good relationship and build up friendship many engineers, even though we don’t communicate in English, I often visit the yard and say hello to them.

I also appreciate for the chance and tug up with great engineers.

事務所のデスクまわりを整理していたら、このボックスが出てきた。

数年前に建造した造船所のCEOから頂いたモノである。メガヨット建造中の感謝、という形で渡されたが、感謝しているのはこっちの方である。

この様な機会に感謝すると共に、現場のエンジニア達とはコミュニケーションを深め、タッグを組んでこの難しいプロジェクトに取り組んだ事を思い出す。

ここで得た信頼関係、友情は途絶える事なく、今でもたまに造船所に顔を出すと、ニコニコしながら皆寄ってきてくれる。

また皆に会える事を楽しみにしてます！！

It said on the top page paper that all drawing of constructing Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ cruise ship will be 3D modeling.

It’s gonna be efficient for workflow using mobile tablet on site.

I assume the software may be based on either AutoShip or Maxsurf.

Ship Constructor is very popular for piping and wiring upon AutoShip.

I was kind of surprised that in Mega Yacht building, we’re already using those software and aiming for efficiency.

Some yard creates own software based on Siemens.

I’ll ask about this Mitsubishi’s program with my friend.

8月13日の日経新聞の一面に「三菱重工・客船、図面全て3D化」という見出しの記事が載っていた。

記事によると、現場でタブレットを使い3Dによる「工期短縮」「在庫管理」「効率化」を図る、との事。

三菱重工オリジナルのソフトだが、AutoShip又はMaxsurfとの互換性はあるはずである。

Ship Constructorなどは、配管や配線などのレイアウトに非常にポピュラーなソフトである。

この記事が一面に出るのも驚きだが(海洋新聞ではないので)、Mega Yacht建造ではこの様な3D化は既に取り入れられ、効率を上げているからである。

あるヤードなどは、ドイツのSiemensとプレジャーボート建造用のソフトウェアまで開発している(互換性があるので汎用のソフトで読み取れますが)。

今までも3Dは取り入れていたと思うが、知合いに今度どんなプログラムなのか聞いてみようと思います。

I had a chance to meet the owner of new concept real estate shop thru my friend.

It’s totally cozy space. There is a lounge, library (not only house) and coffee counter.

The shop concept is Local Community Lounge.

I have same concept of marine community. The conversation we had is so important and happy to meet the smart and energetic person.

川崎の宮崎台にオープンした不動産の「エストサービス」。

「ローカル・コミュニティ・ラウンジ」というコンセプト通りのお店でした。

入り口を入ってすぐに「ラウンジ」があり、右側には「ライブラリー」がある。奥の方には「コーヒーカウンター」までもがあり、心地よい空間を演出しています。

このラウンジは多目的に使用する計画で(もう既に開催されています)、スクリーンがあり不動産だけではなく、多岐にわたるイベントが開催されるそうです。

コンセプト通りですね(Local Community Lounge)。

榎本社長との話しも「熱」がある会話で、非常に刺激を受けました。

また行きたいと思える雰囲気作りが素晴らしいですね。また伺わせてもらいます。

Design & Engineering the boat has to follow the rule.

It’s quite complicated and updates adding new rule.

We have to keep following and studying the regulation.

ボートをデザイン・設計する上で、規則に従わなければいけないのは当たり前の事である。

このルールがなかなか複雑である。表現や解釈の仕方が難しい・・

心得やアップデートされたルールがあるので、常に勉強していかないといけません。

The Web site and related social media is very useful for research.

But more importantly, we intend to be there for what we see and feel.

I need to make sure the color scheme and what the quality is.

We will always do that way. Be realistic.

ウェブサイトやソーシャルメディアでの情報は非常に便利です。情報量も多いです

ですが、現物も「見て」「触れて」、その空間に身を置いて「感じる」コトを重要視します。

諸々な事を確認する為に、足しげく、答えやコンセプトが見えるまで足しげく通います。

こんなやり方しか出来ませんが、このやり方がリアルに反映されます。
