These magazine & brochure are getting from boat show that I attended early this month.

Those are very, very, very good resource for design and many aspect of our business.

I always try to make some time for brain storming thru reading those magazines, but, in fact, it’s piling up on my desk…

今月初旬に行ってきたアメリカでのボートショーで集めた雑誌やカタログ類。

この様な本は非常に大事なリソースになり、ビジネスに繋がる発想をくれます。

毎週少しでも雑誌を読みながらブレスト出来る時間を作ろうと思っていますが・・デスクの上にドンドン山積みされいるのが現実です・・・

I have bunch of meetings recently.

We always concern this meeting has not to be presentation.

I mean every people at the table mention what they think based upon what we propose.

I don’t want to push our idea to client. My definition of meeting means that each idea comes together without complex. That’s one of our job to do.

最近は打合せが多いです。

いつも気を付けている事ですが、「発表会(プレゼンテーション)」ではなく『打合せ』にしようと思っています。

その場、その限られた時間で弊社の提案内容をベースに、色々な意見、アイデアを言ってもらえるように気を付けています。それを整理づけてより良いデザインを提案するのが我々の仕事です。

一方的に考えを押し付けるのではなく、知恵を出し合ってより良いモノを作りだせるような時間、そして場にしたいと思って取り組んでいます。

We usually move by car because most of the marina and boat locates far from station or by public transportation.

New company car is hybrid. Of course, fuel consumption is really good. Actually it’s greater than what I thought.

We’re gonna move around marinas.

打合せ等でマリーナやボートに行く時は、場所的に車の方が時間効率が良いので車で移動します。

営業車をハイブリッドにしました。思ったより燃費も良く、そこそこのサイズの艤装品もシートを倒して積めます。

この営業車でさらに色々な所に行きやすくなりました。

You may know that Nissan Marine will close the door by this fiscal year (stay open some departments though).

We have been working with them for design and development.

I went the factory to say Thank you very much in person.

The product will stay out there and it won’t go away with owner’s memory.

新聞などのメディアにも出たように「日産マリーン」が製造停止になります(一部の部門は継続するようです)。

日産さんとはデザインや開発の仕事をやらせて頂き、何度も工場に行って打合せをしてきました。

このニュースを受け、ご挨拶を兼ね今までの謝意を述べに先日行ってきました。

日産のボートはまだまだマリーナにありますし、ファンの心に残り続ける事と思います。
