雨続きだったが、久し振りの晴れ間に見た全塗装中の「ハトラス63CMY」。まるで別の船ですね。

作業中の職人さんと話をしていて、勉強になりました。バフの機械も2種類のものを使っていたり、コンパウンドも色々と研究しています。

紙(PC)だけを机で描いている設計士・デザイナーではなく、現場を見れて、意匠だけではなくUser Friendlyな設計をしなければならないと思う。そうなるべくして、これからも、色々な所にお邪魔して聞きますので、教えて下さいね。

It had been rainy day in Tokyo, but was nice day to check the color balance fro Hatteras63 CMY. It looks like different boat.

I had a chance to talk with painter and learned paint process. He is using two different types of grinder and polish material for different surface stage.

I’d like to be a designer who is not doing design work thru PC at desk, but also drawing has to be more realistic to be a user friendly. I will ask around the yard, so please advice to me.

Hatteras63CMY(ハトラス63コックピットモーターヨット)の外板塗装があらかた終わったようです。

カラーバランスが良いです。既存のスーパーストラクチャーの色味との調整がバッチリではないでしょうか。

写真では、船底部分が養生されて見えませんが、コントラストが効いています。

早く浮かべて見たいです。

It seems like Hatteras63CMY’s hull paint is almost done.

The total color balance is perfect with original superstructure color. It’s very nice contrast with bottom paint as well.

I wanna see her on the sea!!

世間は連休の様ですが、新造の『ビックボート建造・設計』打合せです。

「レイノルズ数」「フルード数」「ワープ量」と専門的な言葉が飛び交います。船舶設計は奥が深いです。

Many special words only use in ship construction across the table.

I’ll re-read the Basic Ship Construction book again to recall the mechanism.

造船所に入渠作業中の「Hatteras(ハトラス)63 CMY(コックピットモーターヨット)」。

お化粧直しの為、外板塗装の色味を検討中。色味は全体のバランスと共に、光源によって映り方が違うので、神経を使います。

このイメージは、先日みたコートデザイン(ブログ再登場です)の様なエスプリが効いています。この様なファッションで過ごすボートのイメージですかね・・

She is re-painting the hull for new owner. The hull color is quite difficult to pick one color. The sun is always changing by season and control the total balance.

The total image is same direction towards the coat design as esprit sense.

当社のロゴデザインを思案中です。まずは名刺をデザインしています。

皆さんお会いした方々の沢山の名刺をお持ちだと思います。パーティーとかですと、数百枚に及びますよね。

後日名刺を見直して、顔が浮かぶような「個性」あるデザインを心がけています。

方向性は見えていますが、もうひとひねりします。

We are re-structuring my company’s logo. We are staring from card design first.

People get many cards to meet people especially, in businesswise, at the party.

I don’t want to design the card that through away after meeting and remind people face and character.

We can see the design direction, but we will search why that design little bit more.
