ボートショーも終わり、艤装品を購入したり、ボート雑誌の人と会ったり、輸送の準備を進めたりしています。

フロリダには、ヴァラエティにとんだショップが沢山あります。私がおりましたシアトルとは、この点で異なります。

フォートローダーデールにある「デコレーション&デザインショップ」で、車が一杯になる程、室内装飾品を買い物。ピロー・スロー・ライティング・プレート・バスアクセサリー・テーブルウェアーをデコレートする事で、インテリアに個性とオリジナリティが生まれます。

別々に組み立てるのではなく、まとめてデコレートした方が統一感がでて「デザインされた」インテリアになります。

After finish the Ft. Lauderdale boat show, I’m doing purchasing boat equipment, meeting with boat magazine people and preparing export the boats.

There are many types of marine related shops in FL. Seattle where I used to living doesn’t have much compare to FL.

We buy tons of interior decoration items at Ft. Lauderdale shop. We bought pillow, throw, lighting, plate, bath accessories and table ware. If the boat decorates designed items under certain theme, the space will be so gorgeous looking. And also it shows owners taste thru the selected items.

デザインセンターを後にして、メガヨットが集中する「Lauderdale Marine Center」へ。敷地が大きいので、カートで移動です。

ボートショーでそんなにメガが無いかな？と思いきや、沢山いました。

After the design center, we went to Mega Yacht marina, Lauderdale Marine Center. The site is huge, so we moved by golf curt.

I though there were few boats because of boat show, but there were many of yachts in the marina.

オーナーの計らいで、進水したばかりの100フィートオーバーのBurgerをキャプテンの案内で見せてもらう。建造に5年かかったそうです。ディテールが細かく、ゴージャスなインテリアです。

良いリソースになりました。ありがとうございます。

It was very kind of Lauderdale Marine owner that we could take a look at new Burger 100 ft over yacht. Captain welcomed us on board and took us to the tour. She took 5 years to build. The interior is very detailed and American taste of design.

It’s good resource to me to have a chance to see it. Thank you very much for the tour.

Custom Big Boatプロジェクトのインテリア・コンポーネントの調査で、デザインセンターに行った。前から行きたいと思っていたが、やっといけました。

Seattleの事務所にいた頃は、足しげく通っていました。Ft. Lauderdaleのデザインセンターも、シアトルのと似ています。日本のものとは、スケールだけではなく、各ショップのクォリティが違います。

基本的に「天・壁・床材」、プラス空間を彩る『アート』を調査。ファブリック、レザー、ファニチャー、バスフィクスチャー、ギャレーイクイップメントやハードウェアー。

話しながら見て回るうちに、アイデアが湧いてきます。このブレストしている時の、オフプレッシャーの会話が重要だと思う。

サンプルを沢山もらったので、整理してまとめます。

We went to the design center in FL under the custom big boat project. I had been wanted to visit this design center since I’m coming FL.

When I was in Seattle to work for custom Mega Yacht interior design firm, I often visited Seattle design center. FL’ is almost same function as Seattle’s.

I need to look for ceiling, wall and floor material plus important item, Art. It’s almost everything in the space. I saw fabric, leather, furniture, bath fixture, galley equipment and hardware.

We had been walking around each floor and talking about what’s what. I think this kind of conversation is very, very important because idea is free under no pressure. I called it brain storming.

I got a lot of samples, so I have to get organize on each theme.

9/19日のブログで、「当社名刺デザイン中」とアップしてから、若干時間がかかりましたが最終調整しています。

弊社設立以来お願いしている印刷屋さんから、オンデマンド印刷でサンプルを送ってもらい、表と裏のロゴ位置がミリ単位でずれていたり、と最終形のイメージが良く分かる。

こだわった部分が表現できていて、印刷されてくるのが楽しみです。

I updated the blog on Sep. 19^th about card design, it takes some time to finalize the final design.

I have been asking the print shop since we establish my company, they send us the sample of the card. I recognized small image difference thru the sample.

My card represents what I want to show, so I’m looking forward to receiving the printed cards.

新宿駅前のN’EX(成田エキスプレス)のビルボード看板と、トムクルーズ主演の「Knight & Day」の映画ポスターのカラーレイアウトが毎回目にとまります。

色使いが私好みです。

構図やカラーバランス、書体やコピーの配分が絶妙ですね。

The Narita Express billboard advertisement at Shinjuku station and the movie “Knight & Day” poster layouts caught my eyes always.

Color balance and total layout is great. It’s good balance to select the color and copy and font.
