It might be good for switch plate and a part of distribution board’s cabinet door.

Usually boat owner use the boat early in the morning. It’s very dark still.

If this displays where the breaker switch and electric switch is, it helps a lot. Otherwise owner has to bring a flash-light.

I may make and design Vimar switch cover with this.

特殊なフィルムを使い、真っ暗な中で発光します。

これはボートのスイッチカバーに良いのでは・・と思いました。

これがあれば朝早く出航される時、どこに配電盤があるのか、どこにスイッチがあるのかがすぐに分かります。帰航後も陸電に切り替え、電気を消した後にも助かりますね。

ボート用のスイッチカバーにデザインして付けてみようかと思っています。

Motor yacht lighting is used many halogen lightings, typically G4.

It’s like Down Light, courtesy light, wall light, shower light and exterior light and so on.

For the reading light, many people have an experience to touch the light to move the shade and it’s very, very hot. It’s over 300℃.

Now LED technology is coming and it’s very suitable for reading light or somewhere people can touch.

ボートのライティングはG4の「ハロゲン」が多いです。

一番多く使う「ダウンライト」、壁面につける「ウォールライト」、足元を照らす「室内灯」など色々な種類があり、役割があります。

ハロゲンの「リーディングライト」のくびを振ろうとして、やけどをした経験がある方が多いと思います。ハロゲン球は300℃以上の高温になります。

人が触れる事があるライトは「LED」がお勧めですね。表面温度が高温にはならないですし、デザインも良いのがあります。

We call it Sea Rail as tabletop’s edge trim on boat.

This part definitely needs on boat furniture and characteristic of her interior.

We carefully design the shape of rail and refer to the crown molding, door molding, corner trim and bed frame. The bespoke interior consists of these detail things and make people comfortable.

ボートではテーブルやカウンターの縁に廻り縁をつけます。

揺れても物が落ちない様にする為です。住宅や陸の家具は、天板と面一になっています。

このレールをデザインして、クラウンモールディング(天井)、ドアモールディング、コーナートリムそしてベッドフレームなどと統一したデザインにします。アールなども出来るだけ統一します。この様なディーテールによって「カスタム」のインテリアが出来上がります。

We are organizing specification book for a project.

It’s time consuming and hard work to do.

The photo is beginning of the book, it’s gonna be much more papers. Once spec book is booked, it indicates items, construction method, material, construction scope that owners need and makes maintenance easy.

It’s definitely important book for THE boat.

色々な資料から仕様書をまとめます。

一つの「本」になっていることで、知りたい情報が容易に見つけられるのと共に、将来的なメンテ項目も拾いやすいです。写真はまだ初期のページ数です。

設計において、何千点からなる艤装品を一つの本にまとめておくことで「サイズ」や「形状」「機能」などの確認がスピーディーに出来ますし、重量計算のピックアップもスムーズです。

非常に時間がかかりますが、「その」ボートにおいて大事な仕事です。

I had a chance to stay in Hotel Okura.

The interior of this traditional hotel is very cozy. The wall is big flower pattern fabric and carpet is very soft original pattern wool carpet.

I just thought this interior would be suitable with McGuire furniture perfectly. They are great furniture with Asian influence.

ホテルオークラに行く機会があり、家具、調度品について考えてみた。

インテリアはオークラらしくトラッドで、布クロスを壁材に、オリジナルのウールカーペットを床材に、照明にはシャンデリアを使っています。

重厚なインテリアのロビーに置く家具やホールの調度品に、このアメリカの家具が合うだろうなと思います。
