The mold for storage is completed. The pipe is for drain.

一段目のステップの物入の積層。長さがあるので、補強を入れます。

The lamination already started for first step. It’s quite long, so it will have support.

新設のステップはトースペースが凹んで設計。一体成型で型から抜くので、目視は勿論だが、見えづらい箇所は鏡で確認。

New step designed toe space. It makes sure by eyes, but it’s bit hard to see it because of shape, so using a mirror to check the lamination condition.

バートラム570のRefit工事。船内ではサーフェーサーが入りました。角のRも綺麗に出ています。

工場ではハッチの積層・物入の型作成中。

水が溜まらない様にハッチには勾配をつけました。物入の底の部分にも勾配を付ける一手間を加える。

In the factory, hatch lamination just starts and storage mold is making.

The hatch top gets angle 1.5°to the stern for water running. The storage bottom also gets slope for smooth water flow.

ハッチは単板構造ではなく、重量バランスをケアしながらコア材を使用。

長さ約1380あるので、補強を入れました。

The hatch is sandwich construction to estimate the weight balance.

This hatch length is 1380mm, so better put the support in it.

バートラム570のリフィットは、船内での大工工事から、塗装に入りました。大事な下地作りの作業中。

工場では一段目の新設するステップの型を作成中。ステップ内には8ftのタグスティックを収納出来るレイアウト。長さがあるので、FRPの歪みを抑える補強スペースを確保して物入れを作成する。

The Bertram 570 refit project is now at the painting process on the boat. Painter is putting putty for important paint base.

Outside the boat, making the mold for first full beam step. The step will have storage for 8ft tag stick. It’s quite long, so it needs space for support for prevent warp.

昨晩(5/13日)、若干風が吹く中お台場に向け出航。昨日は北風で寒かったです。

海外からのゲストも、船から眺める東京の夜景を非常に楽しんでいらっしゃいました。

お台場で錨泊。平日にもかかわらず沢山の屋形船がでていました。

The boat was out for cruise on yesterday, May 13^th. It was strong north wind, so it brought cold wind.

The guest on board was international. It seems like they had a good time on boat and enjoyed the Tokyo Bay night view.

We anchored at Odaiba. There were many Party boats even weekday.

バートラム570のウエットバーをメザニンにRefit。よく「レストア」という言葉と聞きますが、船舶での改装・修繕は英語ではRefit(リフィット)の方がしっくりきます。

多数の線が集まってきて、色々な傾斜角度がついているので、『基準となる線』を決めるのが難しい。

現場の手を止めない用に、急ピッチで図面をおこしているが、若干後追いなので正確さを保ちながら急いで描きあげます。

Bertram 570 refit project kick off. The project is existing wet bat to Mezzanine.

It’s very, very hard to set up base line because there are many line coming and deck is angled and steps are angled as well.

Even design and drawing is processing, the construction is already started, so we will prepare the drawing quickly with accuracy.

図面で不具合があったので、急遽現場へ。大工さんと打合せ後、墨出し修正。

I found something wrong in the drawing, so I went to site to check it. After discussion with carpenter leader, it needed to modify the base line.

ハッチを受ける淵の高さでカット。

大工さんと密なる打合せをしながら、工法を組み立てて進めています。
