I have been concentrating on the drawing for the head shower door parts. There are several requirements in the tiny space.

I have to check the size and measurement thru 3D drawing and make 2D detail construction drawing.

It’s quite complicate parts relating FRP, metal and equipment. I have to be very carful about the size and relation of these.

作図を集中して進めます。途中で手を止めると更に時間が懸かってしまうので、ある程度の所まで一気に進めます。

3Dモデリングから形状、サイズを確認し、2Dの詳細図、施工図に起こしていきます。

3Dは時間が懸かる作業なので、「目的」(何用の3Dか？)を明確にしないとズッと没頭してしまいます。

FRPと金物の合わせで、ミリ単位でサイズを調整。相手がFRPなのである程度のスペースを確保しておかないと金物との兼ね合いがうまくいかない。このミリ単位の調整は神経を使いますね。

When I see this hatch detail, I totally understand the shipbuilder’s attention to detail.

Even hatch ring covers with wood trim and wood rail on deck is finished well.

Somewhere we can’t see direct is showing the care of boat construction, I believe.

パッと目に見える仕上げだけではなく、目に見えない仕上げ、開けたら分かる仕上げへのケアはその造船所のクォリティーを物語っていると思う。

When I was drawing the aluminum pipe work at Bertram’s flying bridge, I confused by many pipe lines connection.

I better make a sketch to clear all pipe relation.

It’s worth to sketch first to capture the image in my brain.

一度立ち止まってスケッチを描きます。

スケッチをする事によってクリアになります。スケッチは頭の中の整理やイメージを表すのに私は使います。

I just received the samples from Thailand’s panel manufacture.

These are sandwich construction to use DIAB core material inside.

The weight comparison this core material construction with usual flash construction in the same size door, the core material is almost 1/3 of the weight to flash construction.

I order to put plywood on certain area to tap the hinge and door knob.

They are really great with work on customize.

タイのFRPパネルメーカーからサンプルが届いた。このメーカーは数か月前、日本にわざわざ製品の説明にやってきた。

このメーカーはヨーロッパのコア材を使い、加工するメーカーです。

ドアでの重さ検証を「フラッシュ工法」と「サンドイッチ工法」とで比較した所、フラッシュ工法の『1/3』に重さを抑えられた。

ドアでの採用が決定し、タッピングを打つ所(ヒンジ・ドアノブ)に合板を入れ込む加工をする。この状態で現場におさめ、最終仕上材、そして金物を取付ける作業のみにする事によって工期短縮、工数低減する。

タイに工場があるので納期も短く、コミュニケーションがうまく取れるのでカスタマイズが可能な数少ないメーカーです。
