We are having a construction meeting at the yard in Taiwan.

The site is progressing gradually, but I’m here for smother operation and new inputs for the design.

We had long meeting with owner and have to conclude by the time I leave. It has to be quick decision.

新造のボート建造会議で台湾へ。

ちょうど台湾建国100年の記念日(10/10日)で、花火があがりにぎやかです。

建造は着実に進んでおり、現在インテリアを施工。ボートが大きいだけに現場に人が入っています。

オーナーを交えてデザインの打合せをし、納期と現場の都合上からクイックにまとめないといけません。

プレジャーボート・エンジンメーカーのキャタピラーが「ジョイスティック&ポッドシステム」のプレスリリースした。

Twin Discとの共同開発だが、まだ1000hp以下のエンジンなので「C18」までのシリーズですね。

ボート推進器はこのテクノロジーの開発にシフトしています。

There are many type of nut available.

The panel has to be rarely open for boat’s AC unit maintenance.

この厚さからくる「安心感」があります。

オフシュアSFと呼ぶに相応しいボトムですね。

It was hard to find the urethane foam (sponge) shop because of cylinder shape. We decided to modify and repair original foam.

Cut damaged part and add new foam on it.

Of course, leather is brand new white leather. I think it is important the appearance, at the same time, basically we won’t see it directly, what is the behind of covered area.

ボートのリーニングポストのクッションが完成しました。

レザーはクリーンなホワイトでシンプルに整えました。

見た目も重要であるが、目に見えるフィニッシュの通常見る事はない「裏側」の構造が重要です。

東京ではウレタン等の材料屋さんの数が少なくなっているようですね。ある程度の「数」と「納期」があるようでしたら、難しい形状でも対応できます。
