When I saw it first, it’s very good for yacht.

It might be good for switch plate and a part of distribution board’s cabinet door.

Usually boat owner use the boat early in the morning. It’s very dark still.

If this displays where the breaker switch and electric switch is, it helps a lot. Otherwise owner has to bring a flash-light.

I may make and design Vimar switch cover with this.

特殊なフィルムを使い、真っ暗な中で発光します。

これはボートのスイッチカバーに良いのでは・・と思いました。

これがあれば朝早く出航される時、どこに配電盤があるのか、どこにスイッチがあるのかがすぐに分かります。帰航後も陸電に切り替え、電気を消した後にも助かりますね。

ボート用のスイッチカバーにデザインして付けてみようかと思っています。

We have been building good communication with the shipyard.

We feedback any issue to the yard and yard honestly reply and address the instruction and supply the parts.

It seems like yard appreciates for the feedback for their improvement.

I’m so happy with this communication and build up the trust.

造船所からオーナーの元へやってきて数年経ちました。

初年度は電気系や機械など多岐にわたるメンテナンスに追われていました。

随時シップヤードへ問題箇所をフィードバックし、シップヤードも誠実に対応してくれる信頼関係を築き上げました。

シップヤードはフィードバックから改善するべき所を学び、パーツの供給からワーカーの派遣までサポートします。

これからもこの関係を大事にし、より良いボートになるようにしていきます。

When we design the new building of the boat, of course we have to follow the regulation.

Any country’s rule is quite complicated.

Japanese rule is somehow unique. Gross tonnage is measured by internal volume (㎡).

Hull is “0.65 x L x B x D” and Superstructure is “l x b x h”, then get the total volume equal tonnage.

If we miss the rule, it’s not realistic to present and meet the client requirement. We have to keep studying difficult and
changing rule.

船舶には色々な法律があります。船舶安全法を含む船舶六法や船員法などなどです。

それぞれの国に、その国の該当する船舶の法律があります。

日本のルールは独特な部分があります。それは「総トン数」です。

日本での「総トン数」は『閉囲場所の容積』、つまり「船体」+「上部構造物」の容積(㎡)です。

船体の計算式は「0.65 x L x B x D」で、上部構造物の計算式が「l x b x h」です。

線引きされる「総20トン数」ですと、約『140㎡』になります。

新造にあたってルールを無視する事は出来ません。オーナーのリクエストに応えながら、ルールに適合したプランニングをし提案します。ルールは複雑ですし、随時変わっていきますので常に勉強をしていかないといけません。

The design concept is coming from anywhere, so I have to keep eyes are open and sense the many field.

今年(2011年)の初旬頃、オランダの「Heesen Yacht」で建造された『122フィート』のスーパーヨットです。

ハルの色使いからもスーパーカーからのインスピレーションが伺えます。

サロンにあるラウンジチェアは「Aston Chair」と呼ばれ、イギリスのAston Martinのグリルをモチーフにデザインした様です。オーナーのレースカーも、ハルと同じ色にペイントしていますね。

デザインのコンセプトは「どこからともなく」やってきます。色々なモノを見て、聞いて、触れて、話した「感覚」の蓄積なのだと思う。
