We visit “Sea Japan 2012” show at Tokyo Big Site.

The exhibitors are ship class, marine engine, water jet, ship fitting, electric, navigation and many related area not only domestic but international manufactures.

We went there under some missions, so it was good to be there and meet manufacture people.

For me, it is good to see MTU 12V 4000 M93L. I only look through Web to get the size and parts on the project’s GA.

東京ビックサイトで開催されている「Sea Japan 2012」に行ってきました。

各ブースは、「船級」「舶用エンジン」「ウォータージェット」「艤装品」「電気」「ナビゲーション」と船に関わるメーカーが出展。国内メーカーだけではなく、海外のメーカー(特にヨーロッパ)のメーカーも出展されていました。

ミッションを持ってショーに行ったので、各ブースで次に繋がるお話が出来ました。

個人的にはMTUの12V 4000 M93Lを見れたのが良かったです。ずっと図面上でアレンジをしていたので、現物がチェックできサイズ感が確認できて良かった。

ヘルムシートからの視認性は特に重要です。キャプテンはボート内の全てをコントロールしケアします。

このシートはオーナーリクエストでボートビルダーが作成。リクエストに柔軟に対応します。

ドイツ車オーナーの方なら見覚えがあるのでは・・？

I had a chance to take a look at 70ft luxury motor boat.

I looked thru everywhere even under the hatch.

The picture is the lower deck floor with sound absorbing material between the plywood.

It worth to install this kind of material, even owner can’t see it. That’s the shipbuilder’s attitude of the quality control.

出来上がったばかりの70フィートのフライブリッジ。

色々な箇所をチェックします。ハッチを空けて配線・配管を見てみます。

するとロウアーデッキの床に目がとまります。吸音材付の床材です。

この様なオーナーには見えない所に、ビルダーの姿勢が見え隠れします。

It’s getting warmer and starts to think about this year’s boat season.

Boat needs to be taken care and clean the bottom.

It’s the time to change spare parts. Those are for Mega Yacht, so even though only zincs are very heavy package.

やっと春めいた気候になってきました。

徐々に今シーズンに向けたボートの準備です。

ボートはメインテナンスをしっかりとおこなっていないと、シーズン中に動かない・・という最悪な状態に陥ります。

メガヨット用の消耗部品を受取にいきましたが、数が多いのでHeavy Weightです。

I have been hearing recently that the technology of window glass for motor yacht is gradually developing.

It depends on the style of boat, but motor yacht is surrounded by window. It’s almost impossible to install any window treatment at front shield.

The technology is that pair of glasses can change the color by electric inside. Color can be clear, mirror, smoke and black, censored by outside temperature automatically.

It may not need any window treatment in the near future. It reflects to the interior design because window treatment is part of important element of design.

去年頃から、もうウィンドウトリートメントがいらなくなると言われていた「ガラス技術」の開発が進んでいるようです。

ペアガラスの間に電気を通し「クリア」「スモーク」「ミラー」「ブラック」と外気の温度や日差しによって変化させます。

先月、千葉大学からこの分野において発表がありました。舶用ではないですが、グローバルではボートでの応用を考えています。

ボートのスタイルによりますが、四方をガラスで覆われている船などはウィンドウトリートメントが取り付けられない所がありますし、夏は非常に暑いです。

近い将来にこの技術が商用ベースに乗ればと思いますが、こと船ですと、もう少し軽くて、同じ強度のものがないかな・・と常々考えてしまいます。
