For the Rybo refit project, the interior will be changed wall wood, wallpaper, ceiling and carpet.

Eventually window covering and cover wouldn’t match with new materials.

These are needs to be changed to fit with new interior design and new owner!!

 There are several ways to use bow area on big yacht.

It can have seating area and loose folding chair to creat another outside lounge area.

It’s necessary to get enough storage for big fenders and many items.

We’ll create and propose something new way to use in this spacious area.

大型艇のバウエリアは様々な使い方が出来ます。

ソファや折り畳みのチェアをおいて、屋外のラウンジとしての使用がポピュラーです。

このエリアには必ずフェンダー等のストレージが必要です。

スペースがあるこのエリアの新しい提案、使い方を考えてみます。

 I’m in Shanghai for visiting the boat show.

It’s totally different town than last time I came. Town and people are different. It’s growing fast big city.

Boat show was quite smaller than before and attendance isn’t so many. I think it’s because there’re several boat shows along the chinese coast now. I chat with the exhibitor, it influences by bird flue.

ボートショーで打合せの為、「上海」に来ております。

前回(3年前(?)）に比べると、「街」や「人」が違います。万博の影響で建物は綺麗になり、人も違う印象です。

ボートショーは大きさはそれなりにありますが、週末にも関わらず観覧者は少なく、ボートの数も少ないです。今では中国のあちこちでフローティングショーが開催されるので、大型艇はそちらに出展しているようです。出展者と話した所、鳥インフルエンザの影響は大きい、と言っていました(私も考えましたが・・)。

Boat is using a lot of teak wood for floor, bulwark top and some interior cabinet & wall panel.

Teak aft deck is quite popular and rich taste of the boat.

The thickness of the teak is 15mm minimum. After several years, solid teak has to be sanded off to refresh it.

It of course depends on the balance of the boat and is concerning the weight too.

ボートでは色々な場所でチーク材を使用します。チークデッキやブルワークトップ、そしてインテリアのキャビネットや壁面に使ったりします。

暴露部のデッキはチークデッキが多いですし、リッチな雰囲気になります。

厚みは15mmがミニマムでないと、年数が経ってからの削りだしを考慮します。

ボートのバランスや重心、そして重量なども考えないといけません。

 It’s better way to install the console panel.

The console panel design and layout are finished and sellect the several navigation equipments. Install the equipment off the site and bring the panel on the boat to connect the wires.

There are different types of buttons are out of market. It reflects to the design of console.

Console design is one of the important things for boat design.

このコンソールパネルの施工方法は非常にスムーズです。

まずデザインやレイアウトを決め(ウッドやトリム、レザー等)、様々な機器をセレクトしていきます。木工所でメーター類やスイッチを配置し組み立てます。出来上がったパネルを現場のボートに持ち込み配線する。

今では様々なデザインのボタンやスイッチがあります。このコンソールのデザインは全体のデザインに影響します。

インテリアデザインにおいて非常に重要な所です。
