Meetings in the States

I went to US for several meetings.

It was great to have a meeting in each party and we can prepare the things for near future.

アメリカへ複数の打合せで行ってきました。

やはりFace to Faceでの打合せの重要性を感じ、よりディーテールな情報を得る事が出来ました。

CNC Data

The drawing is for CNC data of new deck material.

We have to be really carful about the dimension, curves, angle and offset of the edges.

デッキ材のNCデータを作成中。

何回も現場で確認し、注意しながらデータを作成しています。

Specific Color

Color is definitely important for the design.

Whatever the material of color is, it tries to match with existing color reference.

デザインにおいて「色味」がとても重要な事は言うまでもありません。

色見本を元に、近い色の縫製の糸を探す事も楽しい事です。

Boat Molds

When we see the molds, it gets more clear picture of design.

To check the molds and arrange the things for future.

船のモールド(型)を見て、より具体的なイメージを膨らませます。

諸々とチェックし、色々とアレンジしています。

Making a Template

Even though 20 footer boat, the template is quite big in my office.

It takes time transfer from actual template to CNC CAD data.

小型艇とはいえ、現物からの型紙はうちの事務所では大きいです。

型紙からNCデータへの移管。形状が複雑です・・
