The picture is bendable marble/granite.

The thin marble surface is attached with rubber base.

Of course, it has a texture and expands attached area.

It also gets benefit of light weight on boat use.

Designing the interior of boat, almost every edges has radius.

Even it looks 90 degree edge in the picture, it has to have small radius on corner.

It’s kind of hard to measure the radius from existing corner, so I made some template of radius.

I’m just checking the radius on boat hatch.

写真の中ではエッジがたった様に見えても、小さいRで処理されています。

揺れるボートにおいてその様な処理をするのは当然で、その分、手間もかかります。

コーナーやエッジの処理の方法もインテリアデザインの一部ですし、色々な工法があります。

These are custom Aluminum parts to use on furniture leg.

The pole is manufacture product and base is custom made.

The product doesn’t match with the designed pieces, so we have to arrange to make it.

Making custom items, we made 3D CG sketch to check the all part connection.

3D is easy to understand the outline of each materials size and shape. This system is component of stainless steel, wood, plastic laminate and TV.

2D drawing is based upon the 3D drawing. 2D drawing has to be very detailed and measured.

カスタムのブラケットを検証する為に「3Dスケッチ」で検証します。

3Dは全体が簡単に見れるのと共に、各パーツの干渉をチェックします。

ステンレスの金物、木、モニターとどの様に干渉する、どの様に結合するかを確認です。

3Dを作るには2Dの詳細図が必要で、時と場合によって3Dを作成します。

When I was trying to look for something, I couldn’t find. But I found it accidentally on the Showboat Magazine about amazing electric folding bike.

It’s called Yike Bike.

It’s made of carbon fiber composite and the most I like is it is folding!!

It’s good to be on boat and I’m definitely looking for something like this.

 一生懸命探している時には見つからないアイテムが、ヒョンな事から探していたものと出会ったりします。

定期購読しているアメリカの有名ボート雑誌「Showboat Magazine」に、その自転車は載っていました。

その名も『Yike Bike』というユニークな名前です。

カーボンボディの電動式自転車で、折り畳みが可能です。重さは約11㎏。

ボートに搭載するには良いBikeですね。
