We had meeting with several installers for the refit boat.

Refit is related many area, so each specialist will do their jobs.

We don’t want to be long construction time, so before actual refit job starts, we prepare all the necessary material such as rail, leather, carpet and many others from international.

It’s sometime hard to figure out the same material as original one, but it comes from research and knowledge from the boat show and more importantly I know to whom I should ask.

レストアプロジェクトの打合せを現場でおこないました。

レストアは色々な分野に分かれており、各スペシャリストが施工していきます。

「クォリティ」は常に第一優先ですが、工事の「効率化」そして「工期短縮」を常に考えているので、施工前に殆どのマテリアルや部品類は揃えておきます。というのも殆どが海外からなので、時間がかかる為です。

レストアで既存のマテリアルを使いながら、プランによって「そのもの」を使わないといけないケースが多いです。その材料を見つけるのは、経験、そしてボートショーなどでのリサーチの積み重ねからきています。

それと共に無理が言える信頼関係が出来上がったネットワークの確立です。これは時間とコミュニケーションが必要ですね。

Last thing I needed to do in my agenda was to visit the exhibition hall in Kaohsiung.

This place is 2014 Taiwan Boat Show exhibition center, not only inland, but floating too.

This is my style that I can get the total image thru place atmosphere, air, traffic, hall design and people.

I’m getting the image and will sketch the things. It’s so fun to prepare for under certain strategy.

台湾出張の最後は、来年開催されるボートショー会場の視察。

ここがフローティングと屋内展示の会場です。

工事中の為入れないとは聞いていましたが、「その場所」に行くことで見えてくるコトが多々あります。

イメージがどんどん湧いてきたのです、まずはスケッチしてみます。この準備の期間がすごく楽しいですね。

After two meeting, I headed to well know yard in Taiwan, Horizon.

I saw my name on the welcome board and it shows the Horizon hospitality.

A lot of things we discussed thru item by item for big refit, maintenance and inspection with GM and engineers.

Horizon is always welcoming my visit and giving me some ideas.

2件の打合せ後、世界的にも有名な「ホライゾン」へ移動。

エントランスに自分の名前があり、Horizon Yachtのホスピタリティーの一部が垣間見れます。

計画中のメンテナンスやレストアを項目事にGMとエンジニアの人達と打合せします。この工程は時間が懸かりますが、双方にとってとても大事な打合せです。

ホライゾンに行く度に、いつも温かく迎えてくれ、尚且つデザインやエンジニアリングの情報交換の良いアイデアをもらいます。

I had 2 meetings in the morning.

One is for solving the problem we are having for generator with engineer, and another is for checking the status of the order and update new items. A lot of discussion and useful information I got thru these meeting.

It always worthies to discuss at the table, not only by phone call and e-mail.

午前中に2件の打合せをこなします。

まずは抱えている発電機の問題を、現物を見ながらエンジニアと打合せ。頭を抱える事が多いですが、何かしらのヒントを得ました。

その後、違うショップで発注済のオーダー確認と共に、艤装品のアップデート。現物があるので、チェック出来ます。

電話やメールでのやり取りを元に、同じテーブルに座り打合せをする時間は大事ですし、むしろ効率的です。

After the boat construction meeting, I take bullet train back to next meeting place.

I need to update the boat equipment regulary and meet with the technician get the information.

There is always new information available to me.

建造の打合せ後、新幹線で次の打合せ場所に移動。

ボート艤装品屋さんで最新の機器のアップデートやテクニカルな情報交換をします。
