橋があるので利用出来るボートは限られるが、「水都・東京」としてもっと親水施設を整備して水辺から東京の魅力を伝えられると思います。
It opens new 20m port at Nihonbashi in Tokyo. The location is very convenient in center of downtown Tokyo.
There is a bridge thru this port, so it eliminates certain size of boat. Tokyo is a waterfront big city and used to be water/sea friendly city. This kind of movement is very important to appeal one of Tokyo’s characteristic from the sea.
Seattle時代からの友人、アーティストのErikが国立新美術館での「春陽展」(4/13～/25)に入選したというお知らせをもらった。自分の事の様に嬉しいです。
銀座で開かれる「Group Exhibition」でも展示されるそうなので、実物を感じに行こうと思います。
I’ve received very happy news from my friend, Erik. I have known him since I was in Seattle. His artwork has accepted for the Shunyou-Kai art exhibition @ the national art center in Tokyo. I’m so so happy to hear this news.
At the same time, we can see his artwork for Group Exhibition @ Kinosho Fine Art in Ginza.
I’ll definitely go the exhibition and wanna feel his work from my eyes.

The picture is broken guardrail. Guardrail is using light weight core material to keep much lighter and stronger. It’s better work flow and delivery if it’s light.

I went to Aoyama for the meeting. I stop in front of some shops because it’s unique interior design and display design.
I have been very interested in shop design and looking for the link between current project design and reference from shop design.

There are a lot of interesting shops around Aoyama and Omotesandou area. I’ll make time to see around to stimulate my design senses.

Cherry is blossoming now. Cherry stands for Japanese spring.
Japan has four seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. I feel each season and move by season.
I believe north part of Japan where got the earthquake and tsunami disaster has full Cherry blossom.
