I left 6:30 AM in my house from Japan and arrived 7:00AM in Ft. Lauderdale hotel.
It takes about 24 hours, of couse, is long distance, but worths it.
I saw some Mega Yacht @ the Pier in a first day after dinner to boothed up my boat show mode.
朝6時半に自宅を出て、日本時間の7時にフロリダのホテルにチェックインしました。
約24時間かけてこのフロリダに来ていますが、それだけの価値はあります。
夕食後にホテルの前に係留してあるメガヨットを見て、ボートショーモードのアイドリング状態へ。
I’m gonna go to States from tomorrow for one of the biggest boat show in FL.
I have been visiting this boat show in every year and many marine people’s connection there.
I’ll have a bunch of meeting, at the same time, feel the forecast of marine business.

明日からアメリカ出張に行ってきます。
フォートローダーデールのBoat Showは一つの目的ですが、その他色々なミーティングをしてきます。
このボートショーへは毎年行き、そしてフロリダ州へは良く行くのでマリン関係者との濃い繋がりが構築されてきています。
色々なモノを吸収して帰ってきます。
I have bunch of meetings recently.
We always concern this meeting has not to be presentation.
I mean every people at the table mention what they think based upon what we propose.
I don’t want to push our idea to client. My definition of meeting means that each idea comes together without complex. That’s one of our job to do.
最近は打合せが多いです。
いつも気を付けている事ですが、「発表会(プレゼンテーション)」ではなく『打合せ』にしようと思っています。
その場、その限られた時間で弊社の提案内容をベースに、色々な意見、アイデアを言ってもらえるように気を付けています。それを整理づけてより良いデザインを提案するのが我々の仕事です。
一方的に考えを押し付けるのではなく、知恵を出し合ってより良いモノを作りだせるような時間、そして場にしたいと思って取り組んでいます。
Once general arrangement set up, it’s design procedure to go each room, custom furniture, lighting and detail.
These are wet bar study. Mega yacht usually has wet bat around aft deck.
Of course design has to match with overall design.
一般配置図を作成後、各居住エリアごとにデザインをおこしていきます(カスタム家具・照明やディーテール等)。
メガヨットには通常「ウエット・バー」がアフトデッキの暴露部にあります。
そのバーのスタイル、及びデザインのStudy。もちろん全体のデザインバランスを考慮してデザインします。
We usually move by car because most of the marina and boat locates far from station or by public transportation.
New company car is hybrid. Of course, fuel consumption is really good. Actually it’s greater than what I thought.
We’re gonna move around marinas.
打合せ等でマリーナやボートに行く時は、場所的に車の方が時間効率が良いので車で移動します。
営業車をハイブリッドにしました。思ったより燃費も良く、そこそこのサイズの艤装品もシートを倒して積めます。
この営業車でさらに色々な所に行きやすくなりました。
