Design & Engineering the boat has to follow the rule.

It’s quite complicated and updates adding new rule.

We have to keep following and studying the regulation.

ボートをデザイン・設計する上で、規則に従わなければいけないのは当たり前の事である。

このルールがなかなか複雑である。表現や解釈の仕方が難しい・・

心得やアップデートされたルールがあるので、常に勉強していかないといけません。

ですが、現物も「見て」「触れて」、その空間に身を置いて「感じる」コトを重要視します。

諸々な事を確認する為に、足しげく、答えやコンセプトが見えるまで足しげく通います。

こんなやり方しか出来ませんが、このやり方がリアルに反映されます。

It’s obviously different culture as we have in Europe.

From middle of next month, many European companies are going to take summer vacation. It’s quite longer than ours.

We are ordering some European boat equipment, so we have to be careful to order before their vacation.

当然ながらヨーロッパの文化は日本のものとは違います。

来月中旬から、多くのヨーロッパの国ではサマーバケーションが始まります。日本の様に一週間とかではありません。

ボート艤装品はヨーロッパ物も多く、注文するタイミングを間違えると納期がかかってしまいます。

I always have trouble to find an international courier when I need to send over 20 feet long items.

But I finally find a great Japanese company that is cover in all over the states and most country all over the world.

Now we are confident to order long items within certain lead-time. Fee has to check every time, though.

いつも海外から長尺モノをオーダーすると頭を痛めていました。規定サイズオーバーなので、輸送会社が嫌がります。

ですが、やっと喜んでやってくれる輸送会社を見つけました。しかも日本の会社です。きめの細かいサービスは日本企業ならでわです。

これで長尺の輸送方法も納期が見える様になりました。ただし、料金は都度変わるのでチェックしないといけません。

It’s good for both owner and us to see what the most important thing is for the owner.

We don’t want compromise propose to client, but in reality boat is limited area and budget is related too.

このリストは初期のデザインにおいて、とても重要な表です。

いくつかのカテゴリーに分け、さらに細分化し項目別にレートをつけます。例えば「航続距離(マイル)」や「シートアレンジ」などなどです。

このリストをもとに、オーナーにヒヤリングをすると、重要視する所がクリアになりデザインが絞りやすいです。オーナーにとっても、どのポイントを重要とするのか目に見えて分かるのでクリアーになる部分が多いです。

ボートを所有するには諸々の条件(予算など)があり、現実的ではない提案をしても双方にとって有益ではないので、この様なリストも準備しています。
